sell and service in New York State solar, wind, micro-hydro renewable energy
systems, solar electric, emergency power, solar heating, ground source heat
pumps and hybrid combinations of these systems since 1978. We install both
utility interactive grid tied and off grid stand alone systems. We are
experienced at helping homeowners and businesses obtain utility company
permission to operate on site generation facilities in parallel with power
lines. Homeowners can actually spin utility meters backwards with home made
solar power. We've been helping people save energy, money and the
environment since 1978. Remember, Global warming mitigation is your responsibility. Every kilowatt of photovoltaic panels prevents about 1877 lbs of CO2 from entering the atmosphere annually. Dave our principal installer is a North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) certified solar PhotoVoltaic system installer TM. Dave's having passed the NABCEP TM examination offers you a degree of assurance of a quality installation. Dave is committed to maintain his certification by staying updated on new technologies by taking training courses as they become available. Dave is also eligible to obtain financial incentives from the State of New York for our New York solar PhotoVoltaic and Wind system customers. We handle all the paperwork and arrangements associated with the approval and interconnection process so you don't have to. We install in the following New York Counties: Chenango, Otsego, Delaware, Herkimer, Oneida, Jefferson, Lewis, St. Lawrence, Schoharie, Green, Ulster, Fulton, Hamilton Cortland, Madison and Onondaga. We also install in NYSEG territory of Sullivan County and some north eastern Pennsylvania Counties. OTHER NEWS: A world wide solar panel shortage in the has made it difficult to obtain panels. Our policy is to order panels long in advance of when we need them in order to make the timing of the interconnection and financial incentive processes happen simultaneously. We do everything we can within the limits of the regulations to get our customer's systems on line in a timely manner. However, there are many steps in the process that are beyond our control and sometimes waiting unfortunately is part of the process. We are currently scheduling summer and fall 2008 installations.
